Valentines day curls! aka how to curl with a flat iron

Today I'm going to teach you how to get beautiful curls with a flat iron, perfect for valentines.

This technique works best if you do it with a 1 inch flat iron. I use a chi if your curious. This style can be done on any hair type , blow dried or natural.

step 1. Divide hair and take a .5 to 1 inch strand

step 2. clamp hair in the flat iron as if straightening it. Drag down piece of hair until you reach the point that you want the strand to start curling. This leaves you with beautiful soft waves.

Tips:  The slower you drag the straightener down a strand, the tighter the curl.

            Separate different sized strands for a more natural curled looks.
